“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

Additional Info

I retired in 2008, after a very satisfying career working for a Swedish company. I knew I couldn't spend the rest of my life just sitting around, so I decide to concentrate on my photography. I've always loved photography. At about ten I was given my first camera, a Brownie Box camera. I set up a small, very limited dark room in our fruit cellar. Later my father in-law really started to educate me in the "art" of photography. He gave me his old 35mm Range Finder Camera, with a wonderful Zeiss lens.

He taught me about composition, lighting, depth of field and made me chart every f stop and shutter speed for every picture I took. In time a bought an SLR film camera. I used that until the 1990s when I bought my first point and shoot digital camera.

Digital changed my photography life. After buying my first DSLR I was back in the darkroom. The digital darkroom, Photoshop. Eventually I did some Real Estate photography and now shoot what you see in my website today. Please feel free to comment on my pictures. I thrive on Feedback of any kind.
